SUREHELP PARENTING INITIATIVE

Girl child empowerment

Giving girls the knowledge, support and confidence to shape their own futures.

Children smiling together in an African community

Girls deserve encouragement, educational opportunity and the confidence to participate in shaping their futures. Surehelp’s girl child focus area connects learning support with conversations about wellbeing, dignity and personal potential.

The organisation reports a one-day conference for 50 girls in Osusu Umuikpeyi, in the 7up area, on 19 October 2026. Three resource persons took part, and girls received books, sanitary pads and light refreshments.

This focus area brings educational materials and encouragement into community spaces while recognising the importance of caregivers and supportive adults. Information and images involving minors are handled with safeguarding and consent in mind.
