FROM OUR COMMUNITY

A little support.
A world of possibility.

At the Girl Child Empowerment Conference in Osusu Umuikpeyi, girls received educational materials, sanitary pads and encouragement for the journey ahead.

Participating mothers also explored intentional parenting — bringing care, confidence and opportunity into the same conversation.

HOW CHANGE TAKES ROOT

Listen. Learn.
Put care into practice.

Practical knowledge becomes more meaningful
when people can use it in everyday life.

01

Start with connection.

Make space for parents and young people to be heard. Understand the questions, pressures and possibilities in their everyday lives.

02

Share practical learning.

Explore parenting, communication, wellbeing and personal development through clear conversations and useful learning materials.

03

Grow together.

Encourage families and young people to practise new skills, support one another and take the next step with confidence.

SUPPORT THAT STARTS EARLY

A young mother’s confidence
can shape a child’s world.

Parenting comes with questions. Encouragement, practical learning and a supportive community can help young mothers navigate the everyday work of raising children.

Our young mothers focus area connects parenting knowledge with the confidence to build caring, responsive relationships at home.
