Young mothers support
A supportive space for young mothers to learn, connect and grow.

Young motherhood can bring new questions about identity, family relationships and a child’s changing needs. Surehelp’s young mothers focus area brings parenting knowledge together with encouragement and peer connection.
The organisation’s project document reports monthly coaching for seven young mothers during 2025. Its proposed “Young Mothers, Strong Families” project builds on this experience with a structured four-month parent-child relationship and peer-support programme.
The proposed programme covers children’s emotional needs, responsive relationships, communication and positive discipline. Its planned peer groups create space to discuss practical application between sessions. Programme targets are presented separately from completed activities on our Impact page.
Who we support
Young mothers raising babies and young children. The proposed structured project is designed for mothers aged 18–30 in Aba.
